Chris Altchek
Chris Altchek is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Mic, a leading news and media company for the next generation. Each month, more than 22 million readers rely on Mic’s unique sensibility to stay informed and make sense of the world.
Before starting Mic, Altchek worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs. Earlier experiences include policy work for the National Economic Council at the White House, political organizing for the Service Employees International Union, and voter outreach for New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s successful 2009 re-election.
Altchek was named to the 2014 Forbes’s 30 Under 30 list. An avid cyclist and surfer, he graduated magna cum laude from Harvard.
