Alexis Madrigal is the Editor in Chief of FUSION. In his role, Madrigal oversees all the digital, mobile and social media content. He also hosts “Real Future,” an on-air television show about the way technology is shaping the way we live.Prior to his time at FUSION, Madrigal was a senior editor at The Atlantic where he specialized in covering technology’s impact on the world. He is now a tech critic for NPR’s “Fresh Air.” Before his time at The Atlantic, Madrigal was a staff writer at Wired. Here, he was able to hone in on his love of writing about technology. Madrigal is the author of the book Powering the Dream: The History and Promise of Green Technology and a visiting scholar at the University of California at Berkeley’s Center for Science, Technology, Medicine, and Society, as well as an affiliate at the Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University. Madrigal graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Harvard and now resides in Oakland, California with his wife and kid.
