Evelyn Webster
Evelyn Webster is an executive vice president of Time Inc., one of the largest media companies in the world. She oversees the business operations and strategy for 26 award-winning brands that reach more than 100 million consumers, including 53 percent of the women in the United States.
Webster's portfolio encompasses 26 of the 28 domestic titles published by Time Inc. Each of those brands delivers content through multi-channel experiences from print, web, mobile, and tablet to TV, branded books, membership clubs, licensed products and events. They are: All You, Centurion, Coastal Living, Cooking Light, Departures, Essence, Food & Wine, Fortune, Golf, Health, InStyle, Life, Money, MyRecipes.com, People en Español, Real Simple, Southern Living, Sports Illustrated, Sports Illustrated for Kids, Sports Illustrated Golf, StyleWatch, Sunset, This Old House, Time, Time for Kids and Travel + Leisure.
In addition, Webster has spearheaded a number of digital initiatives and launches, including the Time Inc. Style Network, a growing portfolio of products and services reaching passionate style consumers, whoever and wherever they are. To date, the Style Network includes InStyle, StyleWatch and People en Español along with new digital brands The Outfit and Mimi, a social-first site that features a constant stream of social chatter, beauty content and videos for the beauty obsessed.
Webster joined Time Inc. as executive vice president in 2011 as group president of the former Time Inc.’s Lifestyle Group, which included All You, Coastal Living, Cooking Light, Health, MyRecipes.com, Real Simple, Southern Living, Sunset and This Old House. In February 2014, she added Essence, InStyle, People en Espanol and People StyleWatch to her portfolio, followed soon thereafter by Centurion, Departures, Food & Wine, and Travel + Leisure with Time Inc.’s acquisition of the former American Express Publishing Corporation. In December 2014 her portfolio expanded once again, when she added Fortune, Golf, Life, Money, Sports Illustrated and Time. Previously, she was CEO of Time Inc. UK (formerly IPC Media), beginning in January 2009. During her time at Time Inc. UK, Webster launched three of the most successful new brands of the past decade: Look, Pick Me Up, and www.goodtoknow.co.uk.
A native of Yorkshire, England, Webster graduated with a B.A. in business with marketing honors from the University of Greenwich, U.K. In her spare time, she runs, practices yoga, and volunteers. She lives in Manhattan.
